Our Vision
To achieve Sustainable Green Mensuration in the Country protecting
the air, water & earth from environmental hazards and Indian women from health ailments.
Our Mission
- Educate Adolescence Girls and Women in the Country on Menstrual Hygiene, Management and Waste Disposal and bring out solutions that contribute to the sustainable development of the Poor, Marginalized and Oppressed, irrespective of any caste, creed or colour, combating issues damaging their overall well-being.
- Design and implement sustainable programmes and solutions for menstrual management by joining hands with Women at the root levels on one hand and with donors/ corporates /Government agencies on the other.
Our Impact
I could successfully reach out to nearly 1405 women till date through Avadhi Foundation activities to make
them realise the need to break the culture of silence over menstruation and understand the side effects of
using disposable plastic sanitary pads, learn about the health hazards of unhygienic menstrual practices and
switch over to bio-degradable menstrual absorbents. This impact of my community service has resulted in
the reduction of at least 57600 disposable sanitary pads per year (600*8*12), which is equal to nearly
230400 (57600*4) plastic bags
